The wind is really blowing this morning. The wind chimes are getting quite the work out, that's for sure. It's funny, sometimes the wind can be so dangerous, causing trees to fall and damaging homes and barns..blowing garbage all over. However, the wind can also fly a kite, provide power, and cool you off on a hot summer night. Life is like that, too. Sometimes the trials seem to never end, but we must endure the good with the bad. We know that the "bad" won't be an issue when Christ returns.
"So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world."
