Saturday marked the day that our daughter scored her first goal of the season. It was a precious moment, and I'm bummed that I didn't have our camera. She almost looked surprised that she did it, and the joy was written all over her face. She had quite the crowd that day with all grandparents there, as well as her aunt and uncle, even a cousin from Portland. She gave her dad a huge hug after the game and was still grinning with pride. There is something about dads and confidence. It means a lot when you do something and dad approves. While your earthly father provides this strength inside, there is nothing that can compare to the confidence that our Heavenly Father can provide.
"For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared."
