Last weekend, we enjoyed the movie, Horton Hears a Who. It was a wonderful little movie with a great message, and it was a beautiful adaptation of Dr. Seuss' book. The line that keeps going through my head is something that Horton repeats over and over. "A person's a person no matter how small." I can't help but take this line and apply it in my own life. Sometimes I think we as adults don't believe that our kids our ready for tough conversations or serious talks about faith. The truth is that these little people can handle it and desire honesty from us. Especially around Easter. Despite their size, they really want to know more than the "fluff" of it all. The lesson you teach will be priceless.
"Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the Lord swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth."

Amen! Their faith is so pure and uncluttered, unlike ours as adults, and they really do get things so much clearer than we as adults do, who make things very complicated! Childlike faith is something that is amazing when you get to witness it!!
