The year has really flown by for our little first grader. I can't believe that it's already time for spring break. She called it "winter break" yesterday which was much more appropriate, but at least the sun is shining today and there isn't a blizzard. Spring break has arrived just in time, too. She was starting to get restless, a little harder to get up in the morning. I guess that's why there is a spring break. It's time to take a rest. Everyone needs a rest once in awhile. My Barnabus sent me a fun book to read with the following scripture, making sure that I do indeed rest when I'm supposed to.
"There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest..."
Hebrews 4:9-11
P.S. Due to the fact that our daughter is on spring break, the blogging might take a back seat for the next week. We'll see.
