Wash it Away

The rain was pouring down this morning. It's been a while since we have seen any kind of precipitation. I was actually kind of glad to see it happen. The snow banks are covered with filth and mud. This has to be the ugliest time of year with all the trash and remnants of a long winter starting to expose itself. I would hope that the rain would really clean things up. It's a giant job, but it may help a little. It's a giant job washing away our sin, but God still does it anyway.

"Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin."

Psalm 51:2
