Animals and More Animals

Our daughter's latest plan is to become an "animal cop." She is a big fan of Animal Planet's Animal Precinct and Animal Cops. The men and women on that show rescue neglected or injured pets in cities like New York, Houston, and Phoenix then try to make them adoptable. Some days, she would like to be a vet too, but most days, it's the cop. After watching this show with her, you can't help but be moved by the need for homes for animals. Every animal on that website needs a home, and it makes more sense to do that than buying a purebred. Last night, we inherited one more animal for Mangy Moose. Her name is "Brownie Bite" and she has obviously made good friends with our daughter. That would make the animal count here at 10. Our daughter made me include a stray cat that hangs out here by the name of Casper. Never a dull moment around here....
