It must the fact that February is here and love is on the mind. Seems like I have had a lot of conversations about marriage and committment lately...I don't know. Friends of ours are planning a trip to Mexico for their ten-year anniversary, and we have started talking about what we'll do next year for ours. In another instant, a friend mentioned how my husband and I never fight. Granted, we get along so well that others might consider the lack of fighting being unhealthy. I don't know...I do know that it works for us, and I consider myself very blessed to be in such a rock solid marriage. So when I flipped my little calendar today, I was happy to see that someone else had some insight on the matter at hand.
"A good marriage is not one where perfection reigns: it is a relationship where a healthy perspective overlooks a multitude of 'unresolvables.'"
Dr. James Dobson
"Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love."
