For two days in a row, I have had to bail out the youngest member of our family. In the barn, where the cats live, is the cat food. Bode can not stay away from the cat food. I have blocked the door with a brick, built up the dirt, hoping he could not get in. However, the pudgy fudge puppy has managed to find a way in and devour the kittys' food. The thing is, he finds a way in, but then can't get out. You can here him screaming and yelping once he realizes that he's trapped. This is very similar to the story in Pooh, where Pooh gets stuck after eating too much honey at Rabbit's house. I basically think he ate too much so he can't get through his original opening. I also think it's a lot like life. We go along, see something we want to do and do it. We follow out heart's desires and our own will. Then all of a sudden, we realize we made the wrong choice, and we can't get ourselves out of the predicament. We ask God to bail us out....again. You can just hear what He might say..."if you had just listened, you wouldn't be in this situation...." Hopefully, we eventually figure out that His will is probably better than ours.
"There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the Lord's counsel - that will stand."
