Garage Sale Day

We're off this morning to do some serious "yard sale-ing" in the county north of us. Apparently, it's called the "mother of all yard sales," a county-wide event, so it's not to be missed. While some might think it's a crazy hobby, my family has always enjoyed it. It's a trait that has been passed down to both my sister and I. That's why I'm looking forward to today. It's a chance for my parents, myself, and my daughter to hang out for the day. Eat junk food, shop a lot, spend a little, and laugh a ton. It's a day for silly memories that we'll chuckle about in another year. Yes, it's only a garage sale, but it's so much more than that.

Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.
