Tomorrow is the big day. My sister and her friend have worked so hard for this moment. Family is town for the event. Family and friends have volunteered their time and efforts to pull off a successful Celebrate Life Walk here in town. It really is amazing how it all came together. I have always been stubborn about help so my sister just does something to help everyone that deals with cancer on a daily basis. The premise of the whole event is really kindness and opening your heart to someone in need. It's really that simple. Due to the many donations and participants, the nurses at the hospital and within the hospice organization, will be able to extend that kindness to cancer patients that need it. It really is an amazing event, and I'm incredibly proud of what my sister has done. See...you can be stubborn and it be a good thing!
"As God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience."

It is definitely another example of amazing good coming from something that isn't good. Thinking of you and your AMAZING sister...and everyone else who participates tomorrow! -S
I will be praying for a great event and beautiful weather! What an inspiration you and your sister are!
