Friday Fun

At the urging of my college roommates, I have decided to create a list of 8 random things about myself that people might not know. I'm taking a break to have a little fun today and create this crazy list. If you have a blog, you're supposed to post a list yourself, but if you don't, feel free to leave it in the comments or email me. Either way, it's a fun idea....kind of crazy, but fun. Have a great weekend!

1. I don't like gingersnap cookies, but love molasses cookies. Technically, aren't they the same thing??

2. I have zero regrets in my life save maybe one. I should have started dating my husband when he asked me a year before we actually started dating.

3. I am a Law&Order Criminal Intent and SVU junkie when I can't sleep. Not the new ones, mind you...the old ones. This especially drives my college roommate nuts because I like the detective on CI that knows everything about everything.

4. I have had a pen pal from Italy since 6th grade, and we still remain close. In fact, it would be a great goal if I made it to my 40th birthday to go visit her.

5. Number 4 would be difficult for me because I honestly dislike traveling. I am a bonified homebody if there is ever was one.

6. We were trying to decide what to name our child in labor if it was a boy. We had no boy names picked out at all. Luckily, she turned out to be a girl. However, my husband didn't like the name at first because it sounded too much like his church in Michigan.

7. I never had a high opinion of soccer and never had any desire to play it. This was until the women won the World Cup with Mia Hamm and Brandi Chastain. I think it's great that my little girl wants to play, but it will still take some getting used to over time.

8. I am a native of my small town and so are my parents. We're starting to become a rare breed around here.

I think I pretty much new most of these, but it is always fun to hear more. Did you see that on one of the cable stations (USA) I think they have all NEW Law and Order CI - crazy that guy still has a job I can't believe it. =) This was fun I am glad you did it.

Vincent D'Onofrio's character (I can never remember the detective's name) is the smartest man ever! I love Law & Order Criminal Intent myself.

You should definitely plan that Italy trip. You will love it :)

Love, Ang

You know that I am totally loving this post! So much fun! I like Vincent D'Onofrio's character too - maybe something about his crazy compulsive side resonates with me! :) How cool would it be to go to Italy and see your long-time pen pal? Sounds like a really great plan. -S
