Being Me

I have always been a people-pleaser. It probably wasn't until cancer combined with being a parent that this nasty trait has subsided. It's okay if you desire to make people happy as long as it's in a healthy way. However, when you become something that devours your true self, that habit has got to change. God created you to be you! Nothing more, nothing less.

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an ever-lasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness."
