Pay it Forward

Last week I told you about the miracle of the wallet found in the mud a year after a terrible accident. My daughter's coach and I were overcome by God's great miracles. Well, on Monday evening at gymnastics, I received a gift from her. It was a lighthouse ornament. Something to remind me that during the storms of our lives, God is there providing a light throughout the difficult times. However, she also gave me the money that was in the "water wallet" to donate back to my sister's cancer foundation she has set up at the local hospital. It was a very meaningful gesture, and I thank God that my daughter has that kind of influence in her life. It was a very special Christmas gift to say the least.

"Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life."
I Timothy 6:18-19
