The Wind

The wind woke me up last night. It is still howling outside so I'm kind of stalling about feeding the animals. However, I am thankful this morning. The power was off for most of the night and we could have easily had trees come through the living room. That didn't happen, though. Everything held up strong around us and while I might have to chase down a few things, our home is still in tact despite the 60+ mile/hour winds. Yes, I'm indeed thankful this morning.
