My husband did his part in supporting the Girl Scouts this year. I thought about posting a picture of all the boxes of cookies he brought home, but reconsidered. It would have been downright embarassing. Every year, our order increases. I'm not sure why, but no matter what, they eventually get eaten. I start out being a strict militant about how many we can have in a day, but then I eventually soften. I mean, does it really matter? For a few weeks, we'll pack on some extra pounds. So what? We'll be busy working outside and cleaning up the farm. Looking the big picture, what's a few extra cookies in the game of life?
Seize the moment. Remember all those women on the Titanic who waved off the dessert cart.

Looking for extra GS cookies? I've got a direct conduit to the supplier. Debbie works for the GSA in Boise, and I must admit we've got a good inventory here at the house.
I munched right through a box of Samoas all by myself (poor Shawn didn't even get a bite)! But, hey its only once a year, right? And they are so yummy!!! I always look for the Dryers special edition Samoa ice cream around this time of year as well! I love the Bombeck quote!!! -Sara
