It's definitely summer around here. Last night, our daughter asked, "Mom, are you sure our clocks aren't wrong?" It was bedtime and still light outside....something very difficult for a child to understand. I laughed, and remembered that it was indeed the longest day of the year.
"In winter I get up at night and dress by yellow candle-light. In summer quite the other way, I have to go to bed by day."
