The thunder and lightning cracked loud last night. It felt like it was ripping right through the house. It woke our daughter up, which of course, scared her quite a bit. She came running to our room to ask if she could sleep with us. It reminded me of how we run to God when the storm of life comes crashing down. He will protect us...just as I will hold my daughter while she sleeps through the rain.
"The Lord is a shield for all who take refuge in Him."
