A Good Week

Lots of good things happened this week. My father-in-law had a successful back surgery. My dear friend's grandmother rebounded galliantly from a health scare over the weekend. Our daughter's gymnastic class will be putting on a show tonight to benefit the American Cancer Society. And lastly, my college roommate sent the news that she's finally engaged. She had been seeing this cowboy since I lived with her, but didn't want to make a committment until he was a Christian. A few years down the road, he did that for her, but she wanted to make sure he did it for himself. Many, many years later, they figured out that they belong together forever. So lots of good news! Lots of answered prayer. Thank you, Father.
