I know that some people might comment that this is probably the ugliest time of year in our area. There are still piles of snow that need to melt, but the mud season is already in full swing. The white piles aren't so white anymore. I never have been so happy to see mud. Yes, it makes everything filthy and you can't keep a vehicle clean, but mud means spring. Spring means flowers and sunshine. Once again, nature is always teaching us a lesson. You have to get a little dirty before you get what you want.
