A Note from Barnabus

Once again, the "Barnabus" in my life has provided some great insight that I would like to share with you today. She has a way with words that provide comfort and thought that maybe someone else needed to hear her powerful message.

I have to admit there are times when I know a hug I wish I could give, or the gifts I send, or the words I say can't help you in what you may be dealing with on that day. So I won't pretend otherwise today. We can't possibly ever know what exactly someone is facing or going through. I know we all will face things in life where it is just us on our own and Jesus standing side by side. But I know you know this verse and you take comfort in it so I am sending it to remind you today, "And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." Romans 5:2-5. So I am praying today that even though no one else may have given you hope on this day, maybe even in this moment, you found it in God!
