Last night was open house at my daughter's school. If there was every any doubt about who we leave our child with all day, there is absolutely none now. It is an amazing little country school with incredible people on their staff. It may be small, but that's the best part about it. The secretary and the librarian pretty much know every child by name and most of the teachers do too. While I miss her dearly during the day, it's comforting to know that she is surrounded by some pretty neat people. That's from a mom's perspective. Sitting there watching "miss social" meet and greet every one that walked by also tells me that our daughter likes it too.
The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.
