Our daughter goes back to school today. It will be nice having a routine back in this house, but it has definitely been fun while she was on break. It's going to be hard to get back to the early mornings because we so enjoyed our sleeping in and the time spent together. I guess it's good to have a little break in how the mornings were run in the household. I think life is like that too. It's a good thing when you're thrown off course a bit. It makes you stop and think about things instead of going through the motions. Too many times we get in a rut and stay in that rut, rarely looking up. If we change up the routine a bit, we're more likely to stay alert and focused.

We are soooo on the same page this morning. It was hard to get up in our house too and I am sad (and trying not to show it) to see her go off this morning. I am going to miss her. We had such a great time this vacation and it makes me realize how much I miss her all day. I appreciate your words this morning for sure. She looked up at me and said with sleepy eyes "you are lucky mom. You don't have to go to work or school." That I am! That I am!! Missing you guys,
April
I was with you both too. I could hardly drag myself to school on Jan 2. And oh how I love to be in my own little ruts. Thinking of you! -S
