My View

I was sitting in our driveway yesterday, waiting for my daughter to get off the school bus so I could take her to gymnastics. It had been a beautiful day without any snow or rain, however the sun was hiding behind the clouds. As I sat there, a car pulled up just past my driveway. It had out of town license plates so I was sure they were going to ask me something, but they didn't pull off that close to me. A couple gets out of the car and at first, I thought they were switching driving positions. However, I watched and they were taking pictures of the ski basin, which you can see from my house. Another person gets out of the car and takes a picture with the couple in front of the ski basin. I look back toward the mountain and it's absolutely white, a beautiful white with low clouds in the forefront that makes it look like a misty fog. It was an amazing picture, and I missed it. In the hurry up of the day, I missed the beauty that surrounds me every day and completely took it for granted.

That is easy to do. Although, I believe the beauty in that day was you sitting there waiting for Grace to come home!!!!
