As I glance at the calendar this week, it looks like this family has something booked every evening...except today. We're usually very good about not filling up the schedule, but this week is an exception. It's important to not have too many weeks like this because being too busy can take away the dinners at the table as a family and the conversation it usually includes. A loaded schedule is impressive, but doesn't come close to the time you have with your family and not nearly as fulfilling. No matter what, we'll do our best to make time for family at the dinner table in the midst of our commitments because that's what is important.
The essential question is not, "How busy are you?" but "What are you busy at?"
