It was a busy weekend to say the least. Let's see...we had a wonderful day with horses on Friday. It was a lot of fun, and our daughter got to bond with some big 5th graders. It was a good experience for her on many levels. (for more pictures, see Marianne's blog at www.slightdetour.blogspot.com)
Later that evening, we picked up the newest member of our family. Bode (sounds like Bo-dee, like the skier) is a chocolate lab we got from my husband's cousin. It's an early Father's Day present, since he has no pets on our crazy farm. We're having some sleepless nights around here, but know that it eventually goes away. I think our animal count at this point is...10, if you include the wild cat that hangs out here now.
Saturday meant soccer and chores at home. We got the garden planted and the camper ready for the camping season. Sunday we helped our daughter's 4-H group clean the local cemetery. She has a pretty good time and there is always a decent turn-out so the work gets done quickly.
Now it's back to the work week and only 7 more days of kindergarten left for our little girl! Yikes!!!

Thanks for cleaning up @ the Pack River Cemetary! It nice to know that you are taking such good care of loved ones we have lost.
Fun busy-ness at your house! What a darling little puppy Bode is! I bet he has great puppy breath!!! :) -Sara
