Prayer Request

I didn't post this prayer request this morning because I didn't know what was going to happen. Now that I know, I would love you to pray for my husband's grandmother. She came to visit us all the way from Michigan. She arrived on Monday and got to celebrate Halloween with us and planned on being here for our daughter's party. Wednesday, she started feeling ill and when we finally took her to the ER yesterday, they found an obstruction in her intestines. They kept her overnight and did some things to try to get it untwisted or unblocked, but with no luck. She is going in for surgery as I write this. There is nothing worse than being away from home when you are miserable. She is a woman of great faith and one that loves her family immensely. While this surgery is not life-threatening it is still hard to believe that she has to go through this while she came to visit us. Please think of her today and the week to come. I'm sure she would love to be home, but it's just not physically possible.

"In the day I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul."
Psalm 138:3

Give her strength, Lord.
